SLC4 safety light curtains are our shortest, most compact safety light curtains. They are designed to safeguard points of access and operation on smaller production machines and similar equipment.

• Defined area heights of 160 mm (6.3 in), 240 mm (9.4 in), and 320 mm (12.6 in)
• 0.1 m to 2 m (4 in to 6.5 ft) sensing range
• 14 mm (finger detection) or 24 mm (hand detection) resolution models available
• Sturdy interior aluminum housing with IP65 polycarbonate enclosure
• Basic functionality with auto start/restart (trip output)
• End-to-end sensing design (no blind zone)
• Integral 300 mm M12 QD Pigtail included
• Versatile mounting options, including rotating end and side mount brackets (sold separately)
• Highly immune to EMI, RFI, ambient light and strobe light

Product Details:

• IO-Link, Modbus-RTU, and RS-485 models are available
• Applications include edge and center-guiding, loop tension control, hole sizing, parts counting and on-the-fly product sizing and profiling.
• Closely spaced infrared beams detect objects as small as 5 mm wide edge resolution is 2.5 mm.
• Controller functionality is built into the receiver, so basic setup requires no controller, software, or PC
• Configuration options include 14 measurement modes, three scanning methods, two analog and two discrete outputs and a serial output.
• Range is 4 meters.
• Array heights range from 150 to 2400 mm.
