The latest model extends detection distance from 2 to 3 meters, incorporates analog and discrete outputs, and features increased excess gain to easily identify traditionally challenging targets. This increase is approximately 1.8 times higher than that of 2 m models, to enable sensing of dark targets at the far end of its extended range. The 3 m Analog Q5X has models available in 0–10 V or 4–20 mA. Both models also come with a single discrete output that can be programmed to be NPN or PNP, and IO-Link.
